Early days but St Moriz FTW?

Okay so its early days....

It hasn't even had time to wear off and leave me patchy yet ( something which has always happened to me with self-tanners) but I have to say I love the St Moriz ride so far!

I applied it last night and woke up this morning and noticed an even, streak free finish. Even my feet were even which NEVER happens.

And I can promise you that I am not the most diligent of fake tan appliers - I sort of swash it on, rub it in and go.

Some things to note:

1) The smell is initially musky and pleasant and then by morning becomes "biscuit". Oh well - you can't have it all. It's not overpowering but its the sort of thing a self tanning connoisseur notices.
2) It didn't stain my clean sheets. St Tropez auto bronzant lotion is probably the worst product I have tried for that...
3) It may make your face break out - I say this because I did apply it on my face last night and now there are two spots on my left cheek. I am blaming the St Moriz - fairly or unfairly.
4) It gives a light golden colour - which is the colour I go naturally in the sun. I am not sure of how much value this would be to someone naturally tan or darker than myself. I know these products are supposed to adapt to your skin's natural melatin capacity but mmmmm I am not so sure that they all do that. The good thing about the colour test though is that this product is cheap - not the £20+ that St Tropez has previously set me back so if it doesn't work for you, its not a massive financial commitment.
5) You need to wash your hands quickly after application - I live dangerously. I never use gloves to apply these products: hands do a much more thorough and even job for me. All it means is that I apply the product to my arms - wash hands - apply to legs - wash hands etc. This stuff is just like the St Tropez mousse: you need to move it to avoid orange palms.

All in all though I am one happy customer. The only thing that really bothers me about the product is the spelling - where is the "t" in Moritz for goodness sake? :)

It sounds brill. I still stand by my Fake Bake, but the Ambre Solaire is really good too. Always gives me an even tan and no need to rub it in so no orange palms.

It seems that some packaging has the 't' and some have not! weird.
I find it pretty dark the next day but im noticing everyone saying it is lighter than expected. I'm not sure if this is because i'm naturally pale but no other tan has turned as dark as this on my skin ...strange. I do not moisturise beforehand though so not sure if this is a factor x

@Saskia the Salsa Fairy - now that I know that I kind of like my mis-spelt one :) haha. i find this more golden than st tropez - which can come of really dark orange sometimes. i never moisturise either (bad self tanner!) maybe this is one of those ones that really does react to your melanin levels? maybe yours have better capacity than mine? :)

yeah i agree st tropez leaves me dark but tangoed. St Moriz leaves me dark without the orange x

I am loving mine too, no streaks whatsoever on hand area which is always a major problem area for me!

And yes my bottle has no T but most do! It also went very light on me, but a nice colour. Applying again tonight! x

I must be doing something wrong. Even with a top name such as St Tropez, no matter what i do.. I cannot successfully apply fake tan! It ends up streaky and my feet.. we won't even go there!

I used St Moriz a few days ago, and got the same result. What am i doing wrong? :(

I really love St Moriz, my bottle is without a T also, just adds a little class!! I have been using it for a few weeks and love the colour however it is a wee bit patchy wearing off but I that is probably because I don't moisturise enough, also its the only fake tan I've used that hasn't left my feet about 4 shades darker than my legs. I got my bottle in Semi-chem don't know if you have it in England?

I'm a St Tropez lover but I have seen loads of posts about how good this fake tan is, can you get it online? I live in Essex and haven't got a clue where to get it from?!

I am very eager to try the St. Moriz but I think you only have it in the UK, right? I live in California so if you know of any place to get it I'd appreciate the help.

@Lauren - I live in California too and I just picked up two bottles from TJ Maxx...I really dislike that store, but I made a trip just for this! They were the only two bottles left and had no caps, but I swiped them up anyways!

Hi, just bought mine over amazon - and it doesn't have a "t" in the name. Funne. Anyway, I wanted to ask you, do you use it in the face as well? Or do you use something else for that? Want to get started, so I can be nice and tan for my first semester at university. :P Thansk so much!!
